Department of Science > Statistics

The Department of Statistics was established in the year 2003 at New Tehri P. G. College of the H.N.B. Garhwal University Srinagar Garhwal (Now under Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University, Badhahithaul, Tehri Garhwal) with teaching at Undergraduate and Post Graduate classes.

The department has introduced the semester system at master’s level from the session 2011-12 and at Undergraduate level from the session 2015-16 as per the UGC guidelines. From the session 2022-23, the course is running as per NEP 2020 at Graduation level.

The faculty members have been invited time to time in Seminars and Workshops as organizing members. The department has earned for itself an excellent reputation in teaching and research with specialization in the field of Demography.

The department is well equipped with Wi-Fi facility..
